Commissioner Tengeni obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours)
from the University of Zululand and a Masters Degree in Social Policy
from the University of Durban Westville. Before joining the PSC in
January 2004, Commissioner Tengeni worked at Radford University in the
United States of America for a year. She also worked at the University
of Zululand as Senior Lecturer/Assistant Head: Political Science.
Other positions that Commissioner Tengeni held throughout her career include: Human Resources Development Officer at the then KwaZulu Government’s PSC, and Human Resources Development Officer at Harmony Gold Mining. Commissioner Tengeni research interests include policy matters and women and development. |
