Statement By The Public Service Commission On The Passing Away Of Commissioner Mamaroba Malahlela

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is saddened by the untimely passing away of Commissioner Mamaroba Malahlela on 26 February 2011. Commissioner Malahlela joined the PSC in March 2009. At the time of his death, he was the convenor of the PSC’s Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Team and played a critical role in advancing the PSC’s mandate in this area.

“The PSC has indeed lost a leader, brother and a servant of the people. We send our deepest condolences to his wife, children and family”, said the Deputy Chairperson of the Public Service Commission, Ms Phelele Tengeni.
He will be sorely missed. May his soul rest in peace.
