2ND Biennial Labour Relations Conference

The Public Service Commission (PSC) and Public Service
Coordinating Bargaining Council (PSCBC) will be hosting the
2nd Biennial Labour Relations Conference for the Public
Service. About 500 local, regional and international
delegates are expected to attend the conference with more
than 30 speakers expected to deliver papers on various
labour related issues.
The Minister for Public Service and Administration, Mr
Richard Baloyi, will deliver the keynote address during the
conference.
The objectives of the conference are:
- to harmonise labour relations in the Public Service
through dialogue on various pertinent issues.
- to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to
debate the latest trends pertaining to labour law and labour
relations in the Public Service
- to encourage interaction between and among labour
relations practitioners (both employer and labour
representatives) and other stakeholders in the field of
labour relations in the Public Service.
- to create a platform for the establishment of
partnerships locally, regionally and
internationally.
