PSC hosts interaction with Gauteng stakeholders on its
mandate
15 October 2012
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has a new vision and
mission and is in the process of locating itself as an
independent body that champion public administration
excellence in democratic governance. In order to champion
public administration excellence, the PSC must execute its
Constitutional mandate without fear or favour. The
Constitution allows the PSC to speak truth to power, without
fear or prejudice.
It is against this background that the PSC will be hosting
an interaction with stakeholders in Gauteng to share
information on its mandate. Representatives from the Gauteng
Provincial government, members of the Gauteng Provincial
Legislature, Mayors and Speakers of the Gauteng
Municipalities, Chapter 9 Institutions, Representatives from
the relevant Civil Society, and Business community will be
