Public Service Commission reports back to community on
issues affecting service delivery
11 July 2014
Citizens remain the most important stakeholders of
government. In order to ensure that the needs of citizens
are heard and addressed, in November 2012, the Public
Service Commission (PSC) in partnership with the Msukaligwa
Local Municipality hosted the Citizens Forum with community
members of Msukaligwa. The aim of the Citizens Forums was to
amongst others, evaluate issues affecting service delivery
in the area; enable active involvement of people affected by
government programmes in service delivery improvements
processes; assess delivery of specific service delivery
programmes; improve participation in the planning and
implementation of service delivery programmes; and make
recommendations on how to improve service delivery.
The PSC is proud to announce that the Citizens Forum held in
the Msukaligwa Municipality was a huge success and has
resulted, amongst others, in the following achievements:
-
Building of 22
