Public Service Commission hosts the Citizens’
Forums with Community Members on issues affecting Service
Delivery

The Public Service Commission (PSC) in
partnership with the Lekwa and Thembesile Hani Local
Municipalities will be hosting the Citizens’ Forums with
Community members about issues affecting service delivery.
The forums aim to amongst others, evaluate service delivery
in the area; enable the active involvement of people
affected by government programmes in service delivery
improvements processes; assess the delivery of specific
service delivery programmes; improve participation in the
planning and implementation of service delivery programme;
and make recommendations on how to improve service delivery.
The iinspections are also meant to entrench a citizens and
service-centred culture, and reinforce accountability across
the Public Service. The PSC Commissioners will use these
service delivery inspections to experience what is happening
in service delivery sites, thereby strengthening the PSC’s
oversight work.
