PSC to Host Thought Leadership Webinar on 30 January 2025

The Public Service Commission (PSC) will host a Thought Leadership Webinar under the theme “ B alancing the Scales of Leadership and Management in the Public Service to Build A Weaver Bird Culture: The Bureaucratic Intricacies ”, on Thursday, 30 January 2025. The Webinar will provide an opportunity for speakers to provide their own leadership and management experiences and share such on the platform as part of continuous learning.

The Webinar will be live streamed on the PSC Facebook and Twitter pages as follows:

The speakers will include the Chairperson of the PSC, Professor Somadoda Fikeni , Head of the Wits School of Governance, Professor Themba Maseko , Ms Bongiwe Njobe, Independent Consultant and PSC Commissioners.

The PSC Thought Leadership Seminar is a series of quarterly engagements targeting public servants and academics with the aim of motivating and igniting meaningful engagements through discussions on different topics by subject experts. It aims to amongst others:

1. Inculcate a culture of thinking about public sector practices, regulations and laws, and reforms in the public service; and
2. stimulate relevant technical expert discussions and solutions, amongst others.
